Service Description: George Herman House (GHH) is a transitional housing and life skills program that supports women who are living with mental health issues. GHH has a unique, holistic healing and wellness philosophy that is reflected in its promotion of healthy eating overall nutritional awareness and complementary health practices which are known to play a pivotal role in emotional, physical and mental health. The program provided both shared and single rooms at one site for ten women. Other than housing accommodation, GHH provides personal goal setting and group work programming to assist the women in strengthening their life skills and in helping bring structure to their lives.
