Service Description: INCOME SUPPORT: Financial assistance and basic health benefits to persons who require help with basic needs such as food, drug benefits and shelter.

ONTARIO WORKS EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM: Assistance to Income Support participants to prepare for, obtain and sustain employment and to make the transition to long term self-reliance. Employment Support - workshops in job search strategies, interview skills and resume preparation. Employment Placement - assistance in obtaining paid employment. Community Participation - placement opportunities in not-for-profit community agencies.

HOMEMAKING PROGRAM: Houskeeping/laundry assistance to eligible Ontario Works or Ontario Disability Support Program recipients, low-income seniors or clients awaiting placement in a Long Term Care Facility.

HOMELESS SUPPORT SERVICES: Services to support homelessness. Call 24-hour line at 905-668-7711 ext 5510.

Eligibility / Target Population: To receive financial assistance the applicant must live in Ontario, must be over 16 years of age, total income and assets must be within the allowed limits and must be financially independent from parents.
