Service Description: The Autism Services team provides services to children and youth and their families at home, school, the Autism Services clinic, in the community or virtually * Services are individualized and designed to meet the unique needs of each family, and families are involved in every step * Autism Services are provided by qualified clinicians.
Services and supports are based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) and include:
  • Helps children and youth with ASD develop skills in the areas of behaviour management/emotional regulation, communication, social/interpersonal and daily living
  • Provides education to parents/caregivers on how to apply ABA strategies to help their children maintain or generalize these skills
  • Involves an assessment of the child/youth's strengths and needs (may include a functional assessment of behaviour)
  • speech and language therapy
  • occupational therapy



Fees: Fee for Service. These services can be purchased using OAP funding, personal funds, or other funding sources.

Eligibility / Target Population: Individual services are geared toward children under 18 years of age with a diagnosis of ASD.
