Service Description: Enhances the quality of life for urban Indigenous people in the City of Peterborough and the surrounding area * provides a range of community-based children and youth, healthy living and healing programs and services including:
  • Aboriginal Prenatal Nutrition Program
  • Aboriginal Family Support Program
  • Urban Healthy Living/Healthy Kids Program
  • Addictions and Mental Health Program
  • Mental Health and Well-Being Program
  • Indigenous Community Wellness Program
  • Court Worker Program
  • Apatisiwin Employment Training Program
  • Kiizhaay Anishinaabe Niin Program
  • Life Long Care Program - support services include social dining and recreational opportunities; transportation (medical; banking; pharmacy); home visits; personal support worker services; security checks; Indigenous support including assistance with NIHB, assistance in completing forms and advocacy with housing.
